Kirq at a glance
Distriq is Sherbrooke’s quantum innovation hub, designed to organise and accelerate the development of quantum technologies in Quebec. It brings together businesses, research centres and institutions around a shared ambition: to foster the emergence of an integrated quantum ecosystem.
Within the Kirq testbed, this site plays a central role as a natural hub for quantum experimentation. It enables secure communication infrastructure to be connected to an already highly specialised ecosystem, facilitating the transition from fundamental research to applications that can be tested under real-world conditions.
